The importance of habits

I just finished reading the incredible book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear! He also runs a fascinating blog that you might want to check out. This book drives home the power of making small changes every day. Even a tiny 1% improvement in a habit can lead to a whopping 37% overall improvement in a year! This concept is so versatile—it can boost creativity, enhance sports performance, or even ramp up your business sales.

Atomic Habits will reshape the way you think about progress and success and give you the tools and strategies you need to transform your habits. I think the one that stuck with me is that recently I started running. I hate running. So much but I need to do it to get fit to finish a half triathlon. Instead of saying I’m doing sports, I now say I am an athlete, this simple change in my mind about what I am, really stuck with me. So when I don’t want to train, because I’m tired or lazy I ask myself, what would an athlete do? well an athlete will go and run, and I do it.

Personally, this book has inspired me to be more proactive each week with my sales strategy and fitness routine. I now have a weekly sales plan to achieve the amount of money that I want to raise every week. Also, I've started tracking my exercise days to challenge myself to work out every single day by the end of the year. Highly recommend diving into this insightful read!
